How long have you worked for Oliver Wight Asia Pacific?
I initially began working with Oliver Wight in 2004 for two years then re-joined in 2011.
What’s your background?
I have spent 23 years working in manufacturing organisations around the world including Luxfer Gas Cylinders in the UK and in Sydney Australia as well as Bush’s Pet Foods. My experience includes roles within operations, sales, supply chain and general management.
What does your day-to-day job involve?
I educate and coach my clients so they can transform the performance of their organisations. I also work closely with colleagues across our Asia Pacific and global teams to help develop new education materials, which we deliver through our workshops. I am also a member of Oliver Wight’s Global Team constantly evolving our thinking and support for clients in the area of Integrated Tactical Planning.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Getting to meet and work with so many different people in our client’s organisations. It’s fantastic to see people enjoying their jobs and being successful. Knowing that our work has made a difference to a company is very rewarding.
What’s your idea of a utopian workplace?
Where behaviours, processes and tools integrate to allow people the mental headspace to constantly improve their jobs and the value that they provide their customers…….while also having fun.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Passionate, dedicated, bespectacled
What is your favourite saying?
Carpe Diem – seize the day
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I gave up on a promising catwalk modelling career at the age of six following an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction mid-runway.
What’s your biggest achievement?
A happy family.
