How long have you worked for Oliver Wight Asia Pacific?
One and a half fruitful years

What’s your background?
I have spent over 23 years in various roles as an Integrated Business Management Competency Leader, Master Black Belt for Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, Key Account Manager and within customer service. Prior to my current position, I worked in a 220-year old multi-national company before starting my partnership with Oliver Wight, which was and is still a great honour.

What does your day-to-day job involve?
My day-to-day job involves everything from educating companies through workshops, undergoing diagnostics to establish a company’s maturity of IBP, planning and control and readiness for IT solutions, as well as designing processes and coaching for IBP implementation. I also speak at industry events to share insights in business planning and ultimately influence professionals.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Inspiring businesses to achieve their goals, as well as being inspired by others.

What’s your idea of a utopian workplace?
Where everything is extremely transparent and simplistic.

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Balanced, results driven and open-minded.

What is your favourite saying?
Freedom comes from discipline.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I’m very sporty, which you wouldn’t necessarily know. My favourites include ping-pang and jogging.

Who is your idol?
Stephen Hawking. He once said “We are all time travelers, journeying together into the future,” – this really stuck with me.

What’s your biggest achievement?
Being a consultant, wife, mother and daughter.

And finally....
We’re off the pub – what’s your order?
Umeet (fruit wine).
